In order to provide the opportunity for liberal parties and intellectuals to present their ideas, to cultivate a democratic culture and contribute to the development of a debate around government legislation, the KAS Jordan Office, in partnership with the Nisan Center for Political and Parliamentary Development, is hosting a Workshop entitled, “Secularism: Democracy, Politics and Religion,” on the 27th of August 2016 in Amman. This is the second in a series of four workshops on the topic organized with the Nisan Center this year.
