KAS Amman in cooperation with the Vision Center for Strategic and Development Studies has organized a workshop that will focus on the empowerment of local governments in Jordan. The workshop will be held in Madaba on July 19th, 2011. The main targets of the workshop are to strengthen ties between municipalities, local communities and NGOs and to enhance the institutional capacities of the municipality with a special focus on financial management and planning.
