Political parties in Jordan face serious difficulties in formulating their political, social and economic programs. This is due to the lack of awareness of most of the parties of the importance of having socio-political programs during electoral campaigns, which rely on social structures and ties (mainly of a local and tribal nature) to gain support in general elections.

The workshop will focus on the following areas:

1.Analysis skills in the field of political development at the local, national, and regional levels;

2.Strengthening the abilities of political parties to formulate their own views in this field;

3.Strengthening skills on public opinion polling and other methods to identify and measure citizens’ priorities.
