Politische Parteien sind Schlüsselakteure demokratischer Prozesse. Politische Parteien akkumulieren und artikulieren gesellschaftliche Interessen und bilden die Verbindung zwischen der Regierung und den Bürgern. Mit dieser Publikationsreihe möchte die Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Kambodscha und in den Philippinen einen Beitrag leisten, um lokale und nationale Parteistrukturen langfristig zu stärken.

Parlamentswahlen in Kambodscha

Um 19:41 Uhr twitterte der kambodschanische Informationsminister Khieu Kanharith noch vor der Verkündung der Ergebnisse durch die Wahlkommission die vorläufigen Wahlergebnisse auf seiner Facebookseite. Danach erhält die regierende Kambodschanische Volkspartei (CPP) 68 der 123 Parlamentssitze. Die wichtigste Oppositionspartei, die Kambodschanische Rettungspartei (CNRP), mit ihrem vor einer Woche vom König begnadigten und aus dem Exil zurückgekehrten Präsidenten Sam Rainsy, konnte die restlichen 55 Sitze für sich verbuchen.

In the run-up to the parliamentary elections in July 2013 KAS Cambodia analyzes in this country report the current states of mind of the different political parties. Ongoing accusations of manipulation against the ruling party, inequal conditions for campaigning, and discrepancies in the registration of voters brings up the question whether the elections will be fair and free. Die KAS Kambodscha hat heute vom Informationsminister Kambodscha's, His Excellency Khieu Kanharith, im Rahmen der Jahreskonferenz des Ministeriums eine Auszeichnung für die geleistete Arbeit im Rahmen der Stärkung der Informations- und Pressearbeit der Provinzverwaltungen erhalten.

To improve political parties’ knowledge on energy, environment and climate change, KAS Office in Cambodia has developed this first Thematic Sourcebook to improve political parties understanding on environmental and energy challenges in Cambodia, the region and the world. It aims to help parties understand the relevance of developing a platform and positions on these issues, based on the identification of local environmental and energy challenges and to provide examples of effective communication relating to political party positions and programs on environment and energy.
