Details

Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) Cambodia is dedicated to fostering inter-cultural understanding between Germany and the world. Our Foundation awards a range of scholarships to international students and graduates in order to enable them to study and research at universities in their home country or Germany. This way, we actively promote intercultural dialogues, the formation of international networks as well as the internationalization of universities and science. Our scholarship programs are aimed at promoting our core tenets of peace, freedom and prosperity to a new generation of promising students. With our programs, we can help you to further your educational goals and widen your horizon. Our network brings you into contact with fellow students, researchers and experts in your field and countless others. After finishing their studies, KAS expects its alumni to promote the goals of our foundation within their respective societies and to contribute actively to the development of their home country’s relations with the Federal Republic of Germany.

If you want to study in your home country or region, you might be interested in the Adenauer Young Scholars program, the KAS-internship experience at our office in Phnom Penh and one of our many programs supporting young professionals in different fields like KAS Horizon for young International Relations experts, KAS-FLY for up-and-coming law professionals or the regional Konrad Adenauer School for Young Politicians (KASYP).

The deadline for applications for the Adenauer Young Scholars program is July 31. For more information check also here.

If you are already connected with KAS Cambodia and your masters-level studies, your research trip or internship in Germany directly feeds into one of our projects in Cambodia, then our International Department has the right fellowship for you.

The deadline for applications for the winter term is July 15. Applications for internships can be handed in throughout the year, at least 3 months in advance. Read more here.

If you want to pursue a master’s degree or even a PhD or similar in Germany and can speak German well, then our Department for Scholarship and Culture might be your opportunity.

If you are interested in pursuing a career as a journalist, KAS Cambodia is cooperating with the Department of Media and Communication at the Royal University of Phnom Penh where we offer to waive fees for promising young students.

Interested? There is much more! You are cordially invited to join us for this online event to learn more about which kinds of scholarships we are offering, what you can gain from them and what our expectations are. We are looking forward to answering all your questions and those you don’t yet know you have!
