The awareness-raising and environmental education play a very important role for the young generation to promote 5Rs (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Remind) and behavior change in waste separation.

The Expert Talk - ''Plastic in Economy" will take place on the 30th of March, 2020 at KAS Cambodia Office from 8:30 am to 11:45 am, and is designed to provide a deeper understanding of the environmental challenges and waste management. The discussion will center around many topics related to waste, particularly plastic waste, which includes: 

• Waste Management in general - background information about the impact of waste to the environment

• Principle understanding about 5Rs

• Waste Segregation from households, and 

• Plastic recycling for economic purposes in the various production chains.

Who can join

The Expert Talk is a public event. We welcome participants from all backgrounds including students, the young generation, monks, teachers, businessmen/businesswomen, relevant stakeholders and all interested individuals who are keen on deepening their understanding of waste management and waste recycling.

How to join

Interested individuals are invited to complete an online registration form.  Due to our limited office space, the seat will be available based on a first-come-first-served basis.
