The three-day course is based on the idea that in a globalized world with increasing political, environmental and social cross border developments mutual understanding between nations is a precondition for peace and stability. Especially the role of accurate, relevant and sufficient information with regard to international political issues and the importance of modern political communication will be emphasized. The role of spokespersons, as key actors for representing governmental positions, as well as the role of journalists, who play an important role in the reception and processing of political messages, will be addressed. Experts from Cambodia and ASEAN countries will share their knowledge on chances, challenges and the latest developments of regional political communication, deliver insight into political public relations, and provide efficient tools of modern political communication.
