The program YOUTH IN POLITICS will run until November this year with an expected participation of 60 young party members each training course. The Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation is supported by its partner Buddhism for Development and the Christian Democratic Union of Sweden (KDU). The main objective of the seminars is to strengthen knowledge and understanding of the role of youth towards building democracy.

The cooperation with young politicians became a priority objective within the annual program of the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation in Cambodia. Through the seminars the foundation hopes to increase basic knowledge of politics, democratic issues as well as internal party structures. Additionally, the lecturers will teach tasks and functions of political youth organizations to enable Cambodia’s young politicians to initiate their own associations.

The seminars YOUTH in POLITICS will be offered three times a year in continuing cooperation with Buddhism for Development, Christian Democratic Union (KDU) Sweden and the Junge Union (JU) Germany.
