With a seminar on quality journalism on 8 November at KAZMedia, KAS highlighted the benefits of qualitative journalism for social development and analysed the reasons why high-quality journalism is under global pressure. Special thanks go to Frank Priess, deputy head of department at KAS for the international work of the foundation, a journalist of many years' standing, for his competent remarks on the subject. In the further course of the seminar, elements of qualitative journalism such as factchecking were discussed.
