In view of the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall on 9 November 1989 the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung organizes a workshop on the topic of dictatorships and the implications the former East German regime has on life in Germany today.

Details

Until today Germany’s past as a formerly divided state shapes the lives oft he people. Dr. Karsten Dümmel who grew up in the former East Germany will moderate the workshop and can share his very own experiences with the participants. They will develop a sense for the importance of reconciliation and reform for a successful political comeback as ‘one nation’.
