Devolution - Foundation Office Kenya
Workshop
Details
In a referendum on August 4, 2010 Kenyan citizens voted for a new constitution, which was inured on August 27, 201. Part of the new constitution is the decentralisation and was realised in the general elections on March 4, 2013. This biggest hurdle of the new constitution was hampered by the lack of information on all levels.
Centre of this workshop will be the expectations of the county governments and their duties and rights. Furthermore, the participation of the citizens on political events and the co-operation with civil society business organisations is a point of interest.
