Südkoreanische Geiseln in Afghanistan

Reaktionen und Hoffnungen in Korea

Das südkoreanische Geiseldrama begann am 19.07.2007 als aufständische Taliban einen Bus auf der Straße zwischen Kabul und Kandahar, im Süden Afghanistans anhielten und 23 Südkoreaner, allesamt christliche freiwillige Helfer, als Geiseln nahmen. Die Gefangenen wurden in die nah gelegene Ghazni Provinz verschleppt, ein Gebiet, das zu großen Teilen von den Taliban kontrolliert wird.
