From the 25th of August until the 3rd of September six KAS scholars were participants at the European Summer Academy in Otzenhausen entitled: Encounter Europe! Current challenges of European Integration, Civic participation in best practice. Scholars from 7 Western Balkan countries participated and in 10 days of their participation within this program they had the chance to discuss about the values, ideas and challenges of the EU and about the EU integration for Western Balkan countries. An important part of the seminar were the visit to the European Institution's based on Brussels and to the KAS Europe office in Brussels. The diversification of the speakers and of the participants made this academy an interesting platform for debate among the participants.
