1. Seminar - 13. Jahrgang

Am 07. September 2019 veranstaltete die Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung gemeinsam mit der HDZ-Stiftung (ZHDZ) in Zagreb das erste Seminar des 13. Jahrgangs der Fortbildungsreihe "Politische Akademie" der ZHDZ. In Anwesenheit des MEP Karlo Ressler, erläuterte der Vorstandsvorsitzende der ZHDZ, Srećko Prusina den Teilnehmern die Bedeutung der politischen Bildung und führte sie in das Programm des einjährigen Kurses ein.

"Politische Analyse und Kommunikation" der NSi

Die Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung veranstaltete in Zusammenarbeit mit dem NSi-Bildungsinstitut (IJEK) vom 30. bis 31. August 2019 in Portorož den 4. Workshop der Reihe: "Politische Analyse und Kommunikation". Im Rahmen des Workshops diskutierte der NSi-Parteivorsitzende, Matej Tonin zusammen mit dem NSi-Generalsekretär Robert Ilc mit Kommunikationsexperten über die Merkmale der Wählerschaft einzelner Parteien, die Bedeutung der politischen Kommunikation und Modelle der Medienkommunikation.

KAS/ZHDZ Begabtenakademie

Die Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung veranstaltete gemeinsam mit der HDZ-Stiftung (ZHDZ) vom 27. bis 30. Juni 2019 in Metković ein weiteres Seminar der Reihe: "HDZ Begabtenförderung". Unter Beteiligung des Ministers für Staatseigentum der Republik Kroatien, Dr. Goran Marić und des Abgeordneten im kroatischen Parlament und Außenministers a.D., Davor Ivo Stier diskutierten die Teilnehmer mit Vertretern der Universität Zagreb über die Bedeutung der politischen Kommunikation, der politischen Analyse und des Krisenmanagements sowie über den Einfluss von neuen Medien auf die politische Landschaft in Kroatien.

MdB Gunther Krichbaum zu politischen Gesprächen in Kroatien

Der Vorsitzende des Ausschusses für Angelegenheiten der Europäischen Union im Deutschen Bundestag, MdB Gunther Krichbaum, besuchte vom 19. bis 20. Juni 2019 Kroatien und traf in Zagreb mit ZHDZ/KAS-Alumni zu politischen Gesprächen zusammen. Während des Treffens diskutierte MdB Krichbaum mit den Alumnisten, von denen viele politische Ämter auf lokaler, regionaler oder nationaler Ebene ausüben, über die politische Situation in Kroatien und Deutschland, die europäische und internationale Außen- und Sicherheitspolitik sowie über die Zukunft Europas und der EU nach der Europawahl.

"Political Academy" of the ZHDZ: Final Evaluation

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung organized with the Croatian Statehood Foundation (ZHDZ) from June 7th to 10th, 2019 on the Island of Vis the "final evaluation" for the 12th generation of the ZHDZ's junior political education program. This weekend seminar always takes place at the end of the secound semester of the one-year training course, offers lectures by political stakeholders and serves above all for the evaluation of the training success achieved.

"Women in Politics IV" of the ZHDZ

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) organized together with the Croatian Statehood Foundation (ZHDZ) from June 6th to 9th, 2019 on the Island of Vis an another event of the series: "Women in politics" for young female politicians of the HDZ. As part of the 3-day event, the participants of the weekend seminar discussed with distinguished professors of Croatian universities and in the presence of the Head of the Department for International Human Resources of KAS, Susanne Käss the meaning of International Relations, the democratization processes in post-communist societies, the importance of political communication and the public appearance of female politicians in the media.

Schengen and Security Challenges

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung organised together with the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Zagreb, on June 5th, 2019 in Zagreb a conference on "Schengen and Security Challenges". In the presence of the Deputy Director-General of Police and the Head of Border Management at the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Ničeno, security experts debated with representatives of the University of Zagreb on the future of the Schengen area, Croatia's possible accession to the Schengen area, and current and future security challenges for Europe and the EU.

The meaning of free access to the information in Croatia

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung organised in cooperation with the Association of Widows of Croatian War Veterans of the Croatian Homeland War and the Family Association of the Deceased Croatian War Veterans on June 3rd, 2019 in Zagreb a conference about the meaning of free access to the information in Croatia. In the presence of the Former Head of the opposition working group on human rights in Gera (GDR), the former Director of the Office of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Sarajevo and Deputy Department Head, Department Civic Education in Saarland, Dr. Karsten Dümmel, representatives of both Associations discussed the importance of free access to information in dealing with the totalitarian past of the country.

The Role of Women in Politics and Business

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung organised in cooperation with the "International Women's Business Network" a conference on "The role of women in politics and business" on May 28th, 2019 in Zagreb. With the participation of the State Secretary in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Croatia, Nataša Mikuš Žigman, the Members of the Croatian Parliament, Sanja Putica and Sabina Glasovac discussed the situation and role of women in politics, business and the media with domestic and foreign business women.
