Supported by Konrad Adenauer Foundation (Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung), Politik.ita is a capacity-building programme by Architects of Diversity (AOD) Malaysia to equip young politicians and youth with an interest in politics with the knowledge to address current policy blindspots, highlighting inclusive and anti-discrimination policies, through a series of workshops as well as through on-site learning experiences. By the end, these young politicians would be able to better articulate the key steps needed to form robust policy that serves the communities most affected by these issues.

The MiDAS-KAS Conference 2020 was held virtually from 9 - 10 December 2020. About 245 participants representing various government departments, especially from defence, national security, healthcare and related agencies; research and think-tank organisations; international agencies; and the diplomatic corp joined this conference on how COVID-19 had challenged the public globally and what are the possible responses for it from governments.

The MiDAS – KAS conference was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at the Royale Chulan Hotel, 27 – 28 August 2019. This Strategic Outlook conference is held at the beginning of each year to analyse the key trends, strategic challenges and critical issues facing Malaysia in 2017, politically and economically. This year's conference took place one day after the decision of US President Trump to leave the Trans Pacific Partnership. The Malaysian Government reacted calmly and underlined that they were looking for new options in close coordination with the remaining TPP partners.

Auf Einladung der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung besuchte in der vergangenen Woche eine Delegation von hochrangigen Sicherheitsexperten aus Malaysia Brüssel und Berlin, um einen Einblick in die Sicherheitspolitik und Sicherheitsstruktur in Deutschland und Europa zu erlangen. The United States, the European Union, and Nato are all trying to increase relations with the region. It is in this context that the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) and ISIS Malaysia initiated the first Germany ‐ Malaysia Security Forum, on 26 June 2012, in Kuala Lumpur. Das traditionelle Schwerpunktthema der internationalen Arbeit der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Sicherheitspolitik wurde jetzt auch in Malaysia erfolgreich eingeführt. Ein zweitägiges Seminar am 25. und 26. Juni 2012 in Kuala Lumpur gab den Auftakt zur Etablierung einer kontinuierlichen Dialogplattform zu Fragen der bilateralen und internationalen Sicherheitskooperation.
