Workshop
fully bookedI. Regional Political Youth Academy - Challenges to European Democracy
in cooperation with the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies from Brussels
There are many organizations that bring young people from the region together. However, there is no initiative that connects the leadership of the political youth organizations of the KAS partner parties in the region. It is important to understand that these people will lead the countries in the next couple of decades. Because of this they need to get to know their region in terms of economy, society, energy, security etc. The main objective of this Regional Political Youth Academy is to create contacts between the young leaders belonging to the EPP family and to encourage them to think through the prism of the whole region and in the spirit of Euro-Atlantic friendship and values. The topics discussed during the academy will refer to Challenges to European Democracy, the Future of Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy, the Future of the Transatlantic Relations and Security, Economy, Cultural Exchange, Regional Cooperation and etc.
