Europe’s new agenda in the light of the regional security complex

Form 26 November till 2 December, KAS, together with the “St. Kliment Ohridski” University in Bitola, organised the Regional Security School 2020. The project was supported by the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies in Brussels.

The main topic of the regional school was “Europe’s new agenda in the light of the regional security complex”. This year’s initiative was organised in the form of webinars and online student workshops. The event was attended by around 40 students, academics and security experts from several countries of the region: North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Montenegro. During these days, the participants had the opportunity to discuss and exchange their opinion on topics such as societal and political security in the light of the wide security complex, regional security challenges, and possibilities for regional cooperation in the field of security and crisis management.
