The Asia Europe Foundation (ASEF) Editors’ Roundtable gathered senior editors of major print and broadcast media to exchange perspectives on current affairs which are pertinent to Asia and Europe and was co-hosted by the KAS Media Programme Asia.

The 7th edition of this roundtable gathered some top 20 editors-in-chief or senior editors. The event was held in Milan, Italy alongside the 10th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Summit.

The following topics were covered in the roundtable sessions:

• Opportunities and Challenges of Journalism in the Digital Age

• Collaborative Journalism – Asian and European journalists working together, Citizen Journalists

• Mobile Journalism – Open Sources, Security of Information

• Emerging Media Models through Crowd-sourcing, Creative Commons and Foundation Financed Journalism
