Study visit for communication experts from South East Europe to Berlin and Brussels

The KAS Media Programme in cooperation with the KAS European Office organised a dialogue programme covering a wide range of topics in Berlin and Brussels for ten South-East European communication experts from governments, political parties and larger organisations from May 15th to 20th.

MoJo - Journalism with a little magic box

For the third time, the Media Programme South East Europe of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, in cooperation with Deutsche Welle, organised a workshop in the field of Mobile Journalism (MoJo) - this time in Vlore, Albania. From 1 to 5 May, eleven journalists from eight countries in South East Europe were taught by two trainers, Antje Pfeiffer and Florian Schmitz, how to shoot, cut and edit a video using a mobile phone.

KAS/SEECOM: “How to earn public trust in times of clash of values”

The 10th South East Europe Government Communication Conference took place this year in Zagreb on 8th of April 2022 and focused on strengthening participatory democracy in Europe, on the EU crisis management plan (NextGenerationEU) and on the role of communication experts and journalists in the European project.

On 29th of March, the third Adenauer Lecture by the Media Programme South East Europe of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation took place. As part of this seminar series, leading journalists and media experts from Germany give a presentation once a semester at Sofia University. Dr. Wolfgang Kreißig, Chairman of the Directors' Conference of the State Media Authorities, spoke about the current regulatory mechanisms for digital platforms in Germany.

Presentation of the Handbook "ABC des Journalismus" in Albanian coupled with Adenauer Lectures

The Media Programme South East Europe of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) presented the well-known German handbook "ABC des Journalismus" in Albanian translation to the faculties of journalism of the universities in Tirana and Pristina on 15th and 17th of March. Dr. Christopher Nehring, the guest lecturer of the Media Programme at Sofia University, accompanied this event with an Adenauer Lecture entitled " Media, Secret Services and Disinformation. Mapping a complex relationship. "
