The aim is to give journalists a greater insight into the EU enlargement and global security matters. The seminar is tailored for journalists from Albania, Bulgaria, Kosovo and Serbia, who are reporting on international policy and EU integration of their countries.

Main speaker at the seminar is Hans-Joachim Falenski, Foreign policy advisor at the CDU-CSU parliamentary group in the German Bundestag. The most prominent speaker from the host country, Albania, is Deputy Foreign Minister Sokol Dervishi. Other speakers are Ilda Zhulali, political advisor of the Albanian President, the German Ambassador Hellmut Hoffmann and several policy experts from South East Europe. The participants will be talking with the speakers about the EU integration of the Balkan countries and the European Neighbourhood Policy towards Russia.

Moreover, the journalists have the opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues from neighbor countries.
