Following an invitation from the KAS Media Program, journalists from six Balkan countries were on a three-day study trip in Bulgaria. The new NATO strategy, lessons learnt from the NATO membership as well as the regional relevance of the alliance were main topics of the workshop in Sofia and the visit to the training area in Novo Selo. Intense discussions with representatives from academic circles, military and diplomacy were carried out.
