After the conference, a plenary meeting of the SEECOM association will take place. The association was founded in September 2013 with the support of KAS as the first professional organisation for PR experts from state institutions. SEECOM has about 80 members from the Balkan countries, Germany and the USA. The association stands for the professionalization of political communication in South East Europe. It seeks to promote the highest ethical standards of good governance through active exchange between public sector communicators in the region.

Board members are representatives of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and Christian Spahr, Head of KAS Media Program South East Europe.
