Details

Pressure from owners, politicians and advertisers on journalists has been systematically analysed, as well as corruption amongst media representatives. For this purpose personal interviews with journalists and media owners have been conducted. The results of the study and proposals for improvements in the media sector have been published in a book in Bulgarian, German and English language, which also will be presented.

Speakers at the press conference (from 10 to 11 h.) are:

The results of the study are subject of a following panel discussion with:

  • Doz. Dr. Georgi Lozanov, Chairman of the Bulgarian Council for Electronic Media (SEM)

  • Ognian Zlatev, Head of the Representation of the European Commission and Chairman of the Political Communication Association SEECOM
