Are you looking for an interesting internship with political relevance?

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) in Geneva offers committed MA students the opportunity to complete an internship of 2-3 months. The internship will allow you to get to know the international work of a German political foundation and gain interesting insights into the work, challenges and current developments of International Organisations in Geneva.

Range of tasks

The interns' range of tasks includes content-related as well as organisational and administrative activities: The content-related activities are usually comprised of assisting the KAS staff with scientific research on the core topics of the office and - in consultation with the director - independent research on current political topics. The organisational activities include assisting in the planning, organisation and implementation of various educational and dialogue events.Furthermore, administrative tasks - such as maintaining our database and public relations activities of the office - are part of the daily routine.

A certificate will be handed out at the end of the internship.

Requirements

The internship is aimed at politically interested and motivated students with a passion for the core issues of the office. When allocating the available internship position, preference will be given to university graduates and Master students. In view of the focus of the work described above, the ability to write coherent and well-structured texts in German and a very good command of written and spoken English are important requirements. Good command of MS Office and the Internet is also a prerequisite. Knowledge of French is an advantage.

Working in our small team requires good communication, motivation, flexibility and teamwork skills.
