Den Abschluss der Veranstaltungsreihe bildete die Konferenz ‘The role of Central Europe for the future of the EU‘ am 30.05.2022 in Wien, die in Zusammenarbeit mit der Ungarischen Botschaft in Wien, der Diplomatischen Akademie und dem Austrian Institute für Europa- und Sicherheitspolitik organisiert wurde.

Am 7. März veranstalteten die Kooperationspartner Multilateraler Dialog der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Wien und der Think and Do Tank Shabka die zweite Ausgabe der dreiteiligen Podiumsreihe „Demokratie unter Druck“, diesmal in Graz zum Thema "Illiberale Politik". Die Speaker waren Florian Bieber, Leiter des Zentrums für Südosteuropastudien an der Universität Graz sowie Roland Freudenstein, Vice-President von GLOBSEC und Leiter dessen Brüsseler Büros.

Vienna Dialogue on Climate and Security

Launch of a new format: A conference established by the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation Multilateral Dialogue Vienna on Climate and Security

Almost 50 participants (including experts from academia, think tanks and the private sector, OSCE-Delegations, and OSCE-Representatives) took part in today's launch of the 'Vienna Dialogue on Climate and Security'. A new format, established by the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation Multilateral Dialogue, to offer an open, continuous platform for dialogue on the nexus between climate change and increasing risks towards security. Follow-up events will be organised in the near future.

Autumn Youth Forum 2021

For some years now, multilateral organizations have come under increasing pressure, the order of multilateralism has lost its binding effect without other binding regulations taking its place. What does this mean for stability in Europe? What role do Russia and the EU play in multilateral systems? What are the prospects for multilateralism? These questions among others were discussed at the Autumn Youth Forum 2021.
