In cooperation with Ministry of Information, the Panna Institute and KAS Myanmar, “Research Methodology, Public Relations and Information Management Training” for the Civil Service was conducted for the third time in the year 2019.
The objectives of the training are to support the civil service for effective policy making in government ministries. Since information management is crucial for proper planning to make policy as well as data collection effective, the training program consists of four subjects which are “Public Policy”, “Public Relations”, “Information Management” and “Research Methodology”, which were tailored to the needs identified by the Ministry.
The first training was conducted in June in Nay Pyi Taw. The second training was held at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw from 21st to 25th of October, with an opening speech by the Ministry’s Deputy Minister U Aung Hla Htun. The last training of the year will be in December. Fifty civil service personnel from different ministries attend each training.
Our capacity building program will help achieve better outcomes for decision makers and for the public, by integrating analytical techniques and scientific methods to governance.
