CANCELLED What does Namibia expect from its new Members of Parliament?

The lecture is aimed at helping to equip our national leaders with what the Namibian nation expect of them as new Members of Parliament. For instance, where and what are Namibia's national interests? What are our expectations of them as law makers?

The lecture will grant the audience an opportunity to add value to the discussion as part of the wider public contribution to democracy and good governance through collective preparations for the new MP’s. Let us collectively help prepare them for the tasks ahead, and maybe, hold them later accountable to our (public) expectations, (where they are not met).

As part of special celebrations of the 25 Years of cooperation between Namibia and Germany, we are pleased to be graced with the presence of Mr. Ullrich Kinne, Deputy Head of Mission from the German Embassy, as a special speaker. We are also honoured to present to you our main presenter for the evening, Prof. Joseph Diescho, Executive Director of NIPAM.

Let us, together, have an evening full of great discussions and ideas for our new MP’s.
