Brief overview

Considering the changing media landscape, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung is organising a training workshop for UNAM (University of Namibia) and NUST (Namibia University of Science and Technology) radio stations.
The training is a capacity building initiative to expose the staff to new and latest trends in the industry.

 

Contents of the training:

• Programme and content development.
• Training on the technical aspects of radio producing including computer skills such as sound recording and editing for jingles and radio advertising commercials.
• Training  on talk show and phone-in programmes, scheduling and programme script development, music programming techniques as well as handling remote broadcasts and commentaries.
• Training on Marketing and media to increase radio exposure and listeners participation.
