In celebration of Kuiseb Publishers’ 40-year anniversary, the Namibia Scientific Society (NNS) in partnership with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and Namibia Library and Archive Services (NSAL), are launching the Publication titled "Namibia Land of Many Cultures" at the Namibia Scientific Society. With over 100 invited guests, this celebratory evening aims to merge culture, and community and reflect on four decades of publishing whilst the editors will share an overview of this the new book which highlight the richness and diversity of the Namibian nation. MSME Digital Bootcamp
Eenhana
As part of the Digital Bootcamp Series, KAS in partnership with the NIPDB and NAMCOL will be hosting the 3rd session on basic computer skills for entrepreneurs in Eenhana. The aim of the three day training is to equip Namibia's MSMEs with the necessary digital skills to enhance their operations, production, scalability in the Namibian marketplace and therewith enhance economic development across the regions in Namibia.
KAS-TEP Session 2 Swakopmund
Strategic Planning, Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement
Session 2 of the KAS-TEP Programme 2024 is scheduled in Swakopmund for 5 days. Together with the support of a topical expert and representative of the Swakopmund Town Council, 18 selected youth representatives of Civil Society from across Namibia will be capacitated on the topics of Strategic Planning, Project Management and Stakeholder Engagements. The session further aims to strengthen the networking and leadership skills of the beneficiaries to help shape future leaders.
ECSO Project Financial Literacy Training for CSOs

The ECSO project team will be hosting the 2nd round of trainings in the Erongo region with selected CSOs from Monday 1 July to Friday 5 July. A total of 10 CSOs will be trained for the upcoming week on effective financial management procedures to better improve the financial processes of their organisations. The project which is co-funded by the European Union and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung aims to strengthen these selected CSOs to become more sustainable in the long run.

KAS-TEP Session 1 Otjiwarongo
Leadership and Understanding Your Role in Democracy
The first session of the 2024 KAS-TEP Programme officially commences on 24 June 2024 in Otjiwarongo with an Intake of 19 selected participants. The beneficiaries represent youth who are active in community development and civil society in Namibia. The 5-day training focuses on honing leadership skills and equipping participants with the capacity to understand their active role as civil society representatives, in strengthening democratic structures in Namibia.
MSME Digital Bootcamp Keetmanshoop

This training initiative hosted by the Namibia Investment Promotion & Development Board (NIPDB) in collaboration with KAS and facilitated by the Namibia College of Open Learning (NAMCOL), aims to offer training to roughly 20 SME participants located in the Kharas region. The goal is to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and expertise to establish, cultivate, and strengthen their SME enterprises with newly acquired digital skills.
