The Deputy Permanent Representative of Germany, Ambassador Jürgen Schulz, the Permanent Representative of Côte d’Ivoire, Ambassador Bernard Tanoh-Boutchoue, and the Director of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation’s New York office, Dr. Stefan Friedrich, invite you to a discussion about the completion of the UN Mission in Côte d’Ivoire (UNOCI) and its subsequent transition. The event seeks to analyze the achievements of the Mission and will identify lessons learned for future peacekeeping operations. The discussion is organized in the context of a visiting delegation composed of former UNOCI staff members, current members of the Ivorian Government and other peacekeeping experts who are in New York at the invitation of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
