This event continues the private meeting of the parliaments of Cross River State and Plateau State, which took place in November 2007. After the short introduction for the parliamentarians in "Budgeting I" in November 2007, the topic is going to be strengthened. The stress lies on proceedings which are founded on the rule of law in the public commissioning.

Teachers are high civil servants of the anti-corruption agency ICPC as well as an university lecturer.

The aim of this event is to strengthen the knowledge of "Budgeting" of the first private meeting and to use in practise. The capacity of the parliaments shall be improved for monitoring the proceeding of the state budget and the public commissioning.

The common event of two parliaments shall support an exchange of experiences and strengthen cooperation in future.
