​​​​​​​​​​​​​The training workshop is a follow up to previous capacity building workshops organized for officers and personnel of the NSCDC in order to continually strengthen their capacity to manage the evolving security challenges in the country, as well as adopting strategies for fostering interagency collaboration between the NSCDC and other security agencies, and to promote good civil-military relations. The workshop also aims at strengthening their knowledge of the principles and practice of intelligence gathering / management, risk assessment and disaster management, human rights, rule of law, peace keeping, conflict prevention and management among others. The workshop is part of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung’s support towards sustaining democracy, governance, and Security Sector Reform in Nigeria.
