Gender equality remains an unfulfilled programme in Nigeria. KAS co-operates closely with the Plateau State Parliament, while GIZ offers a successful project on women. Together, we wish to counsel the newly elected parliament to pass a modern law on gender equality in the new legislative period. GIZ contributes with its competence in gender related topics, while KAS provides its experience in consulting parliaments. This aims at a new level of policy advice of parliaments by KAS, which should result in laws sponsored by KAS.
