With one hour “Vision Nigeria” every week from the locations Abuja, Enugu, Kaduna, and Port Harcourt, a broad spectrum of topics is given, which emphasizes in the second half of the year especially the reform needs of the country and reform measures of the new government. In July 2011, KAS and partners set the following focus points:

In Abuja with Gbenga Aruleba (every Wednesday, from 1-2 PM on FM AIT/RP Abuja 100.5)

- The German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel visits Nigeria from July 14-15. The German Ambassador Joachim Schmillen reports at „Vision Nigeria” on her visit, and answers to questions and comments by the audience on July 27.

In Enugu with Patrick Enyogai (every Friday, from 1-2 PM on FM Coal City 92.8)

- On July 22, Chidozie Alex Ogbonnia is guest speaker in the programme with focus on the relationship between Politics and the Economy. The Political Scientist from Enugu University will inform about its implications for National Development.

- Likewise with a view to National Development in Nigeria, on July 29, the Economist Okpe Alphonsus talks about the Impact of Sectionalism, Ethnicity, and Insecurity.

In Port Harcourt with Colins Imoh (every Thursday, from 3-4 PM on FM Rivers 99.1)

- Very up-to-date due to an impending strike by workers and a current deadlock in negotiations, in the programme on July 21: Minimum Wage and the Private Sector. Studio guests are the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) Rivers State Chairman-Chief Orugu and Dr. Vinc Furu, President of the Port Harcourt Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

- Nigeria as 14th on the “Failed States”: Barrister West Soalabao asks on July 28 the question about Nigeria’s way out of the list of the endangered states. The Failed States Index rates 177 countries on 12 indicators – from refugee flows to poverty, public services to security threats – and assesses with the resulting performance of a country over its stability.
