In preparation to the April 2007 General elections the topics were selected centrally focused on achieving peaceful, credible free and fair elections. The programme examined the roles of the traditional rulers, religious leaders, youth, security, judiciary, the parliaments and the executives in ensuring peaceful, free and fair elections. The topics sensitised the audience on the rules guiding the elections.

Some topics of the programme: Islam and the 2007 Election, Understanding Voter Registration, Democracy and the Power Question, Nigerian Media and 2007 Elections and so on.

The impact of Hausa which the programme has adopted may account for the excellent response that greeted the programme. Vision Nigeria (Dan Tuwon Gobe) has become a household name in Kano and other parts of northern Nigeria.
