From 8th until 10th of May in Dojran the third “Cathedra Adenauer” seminar was organized with participation of 37 students from different Universities from Macedonia.

Regionale Integration und der EU-Annäherungsprozess auf dem Westbalkan

Am 12. Juli 2017 findet in Triest die 4. Konferenz zum Westlichen Balkan im Rahmen des sogenannten Berlin-Prozesses statt. Diese Konferenz wird dabei ganz unter dem Eindruck der vielfältigen innerstaatlichen und zwischenstaatlichen Herausforderungen auf dem Westbalkan stehen. Im Vorfeld des Gipfels von Triest lud die Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung am 8. Mai in Berlin zu einem Westbalkan-Diskussionsforum auf Ebene der in Berlin ansässigen Botschafter der beteiligten Länder ein.

Political Parties and Interest Groups

Since the opening of the representative office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in 2000, there was a significant number of activities that were aimed to contribute to further improvement of the overall circumstances in the country. In this regard, the cooperation with the academic community has been a particular imperative for us and we find this support in the publishing of this book as another step in this direction. We hope that this book will expand the knowledge of students, academics from all higher education institutions in the country, as well as all others interested in the topic.

The toolkit for prevention of corruption in the local administration was promoted

Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Macedonian Young Lawyer Association (MYLA) in cooperation with the Ministry of Information Society and Administration developed a toolkit for prevention of corruption in the local administration which was promoted on 19.04.2017 in the public.

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, the European Movement of Macedonia in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation organized the Panel discussion posing the question: Is Macedonia on the right road?
