Over thirty young students from Macedonia participated at the Summer school titled as "Religion, Ethnicity and Nationalism", which was organized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in cooperation with the five religious communities and the University "Euro-Balkan" in the period between 15-19 September 2014 in Skopje.

On the occasion of promoting the latest issue of the magazine “Political thought” titled “Strategies for Regional Energy Security”, the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in cooperation with the Institute for Democracy “Societas Civilis” Skopje and the NGO FRONT 21/42 organized an international conference with the title “Strategies for Regional Energy Se-curity-Energy Policy in Times of Climate Changes” in Bitola on 12-13 December 2011. In the following a summary of the main standpoints, conclusions and recommendations of the participants is given.

Anlässlich der Vorstellung der neuesten Ausgabe der Zeitschrift "Politicka Misla" mit dem Titel "Strategien zur Sicherung der regionalen Energieversorgung" organisierte die Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Institute for Democracy 'Societas Civilis' und die NGO FRONT 21/42 am 12-13.12.2011 in Bitola eine internationale Konferenz mit dem Titel "Strategien für regionale Energiesicherheit - Energiepolitik in Zeiten des Klimawandels". Als Ergebnis der Konferenz finden Sie eine Zusammenfassung der wichtigsten Standpunkte, Schlussfolgerungen und Empfehlungen der Teilnehmer.

Tolerance, dialogue, cooperation! Promoting inter-religious dialogue in Macedonia

News reporting on religious issues

On 17 March 2011 in Skopje the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Institute for Democracy “Societas Civilis” held the first training for journalists on the topic “News reporting on religious issues”. The training was organized within the project “Tolerance, dialogue, cooperation! Promoting inter-religious dialogue in Macedonia through capacity building for media and religious representatives”, funded by the European Union and co-funded by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.

EU-Finanzinstrumente – wichtig für Klein- und mittlere Unternehmen

An dem 12. Expertenforum tauschten politische und wirtschaftliche Entscheidungsträger Erfahrungen mit Experten aus Bildung und Wirtschaft aus. Warum EU-Finanzmittel für die kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen wichtig sind, wo die Probleme liegen und was die Unternehmer darüber denken, wurde am 29.11.2010 besprochen.

Shaping the future of EU: “Politics and Bargaining - How to deal with Interests and Compromises?”

Vom 21.- 24. Oktober führte das Auslandsbüro Mazedonien der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Zusammenarbeit mit dem „Civic“ Institut für internationale Bildung ein viertägiges Simulationsseminar über das Verhandeln und Kompromisseschließen im Gemeinderat einer lokalen Selbstverwaltung in Mazedonien durch. Inhaltlich wurde eine neue, auf die konkrete Situation in Mazedonien abgestimmte Simulation entwickelt. Eine weitere Neuheit war auch die Teilnahme von 23 NachwuchspolitikernInnen aus den unterschiedlichsten Parteien des Landes.
