The Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Association Leaders for Education, Activism and Development with the support of the Union of High School Students, as active supporters and promoters of student participation over the past years, are introducing the award for high school participation, in recognition of the activity and work of these student bodies aimed at improving the position of students in their schools, as well as their involvement in the school processes.

The first online board game for political education in Macedonian language"Electology" created by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Association of Leaders for Education, Activism and Development (LEAD) allows the players to "get in the shoes" of the leader of an imaginary political party and participate in the parliamentary elections.

Analysis of the legal framework and institutional capacities of the local environmental inspection services

Environmental inspection is of special importance having in mind that the protection of the environment is a right guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic of North Macedonia. This analysis provides an accurate overview of the situation and the challenges in performing inspections at the local level, which is of particular importance to citizens.

Cathedra Adenauer 2021

On 14 and 17 December, KAS in cooperation with the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies from Brussels, the Institute for Social Research - MK91 from Skopje, University of Tourism and Management - Skopje and the Faculty of Law at the University "Goce Delchev" in Stip organized two lectures in the frame of the Cathedra Adenauer 2021.

Future cooperation between municipalities and private entrepreneurs

On December 9th, 2021 the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung together with the German-Macedonian Business Association organized a panel discussion on the topic: “Future cooperation between municipalities and the private entrepreneurs”. The aim of the event was to offer an exchange platform on which the newly elected mayors in the country had the opportunity to exchange ideas with the member companies of the German-Macedonian Business Association and to find out about the needs of the economy.

Religious communities and the Covid-19 crisis

The Konrad Adenauer foundation in cooperation with the Institute for Political Research Skopje and the Internet portal "Religija.mk" have continued their collaboration on another public poll, which aims to reflect citizens perception of the role of religious communities in times of Covid-19 pandemic.

30 years of statehood, the Constitution - the foundation of the future

Documentary film

The documentary "30 years of statehood, the Constitution - the foundation of the future" is co-produced by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in North Macedonia and the Macedonian Radio Television. The film marks the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution, voted in the Assembly on 17 November 1991, by showing the construction, challenges and successes of the country.
