Policy brief

The goal of this work is to define the boundaries of the Macedonian model of secularism, and to determine the ideological positions of the key political parties in the Republic of Macedonia regarding this issue. All of this is achieved through proper theoretical analysis, as well as analysis of the attitudes of the respective parties in the periods when the Republic of Macedonia voted the key legislation related to the nature of the Macedonian model of secularism.The Policy brief is available in Macedonian and Albanian language and can be downloaded free of charge from our web page.

Analysis of the religious communities’ representation in the daily press in the Republic of Macedonia

In the period between 30th April and 31st May 2014 an “Analysis of the religious communities’ representation in the daily press in the Republic of Macedonia” was conducted. This report presents the monitoring carried out on the representation of the religious communities’ activities in the national daily press, distributed to the public in Macedonian and Albanian languages, as well as information collected on ways of building public relations gained from direct contacts with the representatives of the religious communities in Macedonia.

Survey on “Macedonia’s EU Integration”

The Institute for Democracy “Societas Civilis” Skopje (IDSCS), supported by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, office in the Republic of Macedonia (KAS), conducted a public opinion survey on the topic “Macedonia’s EU Integration”. The survey was conducted by telephone interviews in the period 10-15 September 2014, on a national representative sample of 1002 respondents, with a marginal error of ±3.1%.
