Doppelsieg für die Regierungspartei

Bei den Präsidentschafts- und Parlamentswahlen am 27. April 2014 hat die Regierungspartei VMRO-DPMNE einen Doppelsieg errungen. Nach ersten offiziellen Ergebnissen konnte sie 61 von 123 Sitzen im mazedonischen Parlament gewinnen und ihr bisheriger Koalitionspartner, die albanische Minderheitenpartei DUI schnitt mit 19 Sitzen auch besser ab als bei den letzten vorgezogenen Neuwahlen vor drei Jahren.

Endgültige Entscheidung in zwei Wochen

Am 13. April 2014 fand in Mazedonien die erste Runde der Präsidentschaftswahlen statt, aus der nach ersten Ergebnissen der bisherige Amtsinhaber Gjorge Ivanov, der Kandidat der Regierungspartei VMRO-DPMNE, als Sieger hervor ging, gefolgt vom Kandidaten der sozialdemokratischen Opposition, Stevo Pendarovski. Die endgültige Entscheidung über das Amt des Staatspräsidenten fällt nun in zwei Wochen in einer Stichwahl.

Vorgezogene Neuwahlen nach Ablöse des Parlaments

Am 05. März 2014 wurde das Parlament Mazedoniens (Sobranie) vorzeitig aufgelöst. Vorgezogene Neuwahlen sollen es nun am 27. April 2014 geben. Dem Tag der Stichwahl der mazedonischen Präsidentschaftswahlen, die ebenfalls am 13.04. (erste Runde) und 27. April stattfinden werden.

The aim is to give several directions which should represent as future solutions in the formulation of the security estimation of conditions and in the building of conflict prevention conflict capacities and cultures.
