NajGLASni! - annual award for high school participation

najGLASni! is an annual award for high school participation that is awarded to the student community that has contributed the most to student participation in their school. The award for student participation NajGLASni! is awarded by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, LEAD and the Union of Secondary School Students of the Republic of North Macedonia. It is intended for student communities that, during one school year, contribute to the participation of students in making decisions in their schools.

Enhancing capacities of youth wings of political parties

Training

A three-day capacity building training for youth wings of political parties was organized in Ohrid by the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO) and the local offices of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) which took place from 23 to 25 September 2022.

Umfrage zur Außen- und Sicherheitspolitik in Nordmazedonien

Kratzer im Ansehen des Westens

Anlässlich des Jubiläums von drei Jahrzehnten Außen- und Verteidigungs-politik der heutigen Republik Nordmazedonien veröffentlichte die Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung die Analyse „30 Jahre Außenpolitik und Verteidigung“, bei der auch Befunde der öffentlichen Meinung einflossen. Laut Untersuchung unterstützen die mazedonischen Bürgerinnen und Bürger den Beitritt des Landes zur Europäischen Union, sind jedoch nicht optimistisch, dass dies in Kürze geschehen kann. In diesem Sinne befürworteten 62,8 % der Befragten die Mitgliedschaft Nordmazedoniens in der EU, jedoch ganze 57,1 % lehnen den sogenannten „französischen Vorschlag“ von Juni dieses Jahres ab, der die Voraussetzung für das Aufheben des Vetos Bulgariens und für den Beginn der EU-Beitrittsverhandlungen Nordmazedoniens war.

On 6 September in the Municipality of Aerodrom, as last activity within the framework of the project "Creating a European Municipality: Integrity Policy for 0 corruption" realized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Faculty of Law "Iustinianus Primus" and the Municipality of Aerodrom a one-day training for the employees of the municipality took place.

Regional Summer School 2022

Society and Religion: Ethnic groups, Identity and Nationalism

On the evening of 23rd of August the Regional Summer School 2022 was opened with the title "Society and Religion: Ethnic Groups, Identity and Nationalism". Young students from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia gathered in Skopje to participate in the Regional Summer School.
