On 12 January, the new Director of KAS in Skopje, Daniel Braun, arrived in the country. The handover of the office was held in the presence of Acting Director Norbert Beckmann-Dierkes.

The authors are university professors and security experts Marjan Gjurovski (Faculty of Security in Skopje), Dragan Djukanović (Faculty of Political Studies in Belgrade) and Tatjana Dronzina (Faculty of Political Studies at Sofia University).
