During his two-day state visit, the German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, together with the Macedonian President, Stevo Pendarovski, visited the Presidential School of Policies which is supported by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and other partners. During the visit, Steinmeier and Pendarovski held discussions with young leaders from politics and society. On this occasion, the head of the KAS office in North Macedonia, Daniel Braun, met Federal President Steinmeier.

The Konrad Adenauer Foundation together with the Delegation of the German Industry and Commerce and the Institute for Democracy hosted on 02.11.2022 the 6. Macedonian-German forum on the topic: "European economy under stress after the Russian invasion into Ukraine“. The latest developments in Europe have caused serious disruptions in the economy - the corona crisis was the first blow to the economy in Europe, the second blow being the war in Ukraine, which has seriously disrupted the European supply chain, while the sanctions against Russia and the enormous prices of gas and oil are the last blow that the industry is struggling with.

Strategy and vision in a time of crisis

From 28 to 30 October, KAS in cooperation with PIAC "Ljubisha Georgievski" organized another of the series of political academies, this time intended for the highest leadership of VMRO-DPMNE on the topic: "Strategy and vision in a time of crisis". This year's Political Academy included presentations and workshops led by numerous domestic experts, international representatives, current and former politicians and theoreticians regarding the management of processes in times of crisis - from all aspects that are current at the moment.
