In the framework of the Taybeh Oktoberfest, the Taybeh Municipality in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, held a workshop for the marketing of local products, such as arts craft as well as olive oil, honey, beer and yogurt. The local organizations in Taybeh were represented by the Lady’s Social Work Organization, the Woman’s Neverland Society, the Taybeh Cooperation of Country Development, the Olive Branch Foundation and the Taybeh Brewery. The participants in the workshop were introduced by three distinguished economists from Birzeit University, Mr. Omar Rashid, Ms Niveen Eid and Dr. Grace Khoury, to different strategies of marketing local products; focusing on the field of marketing planning and implementation. The workshop was followed by a lunch, which was accompanied by a lively discussion between the participants and the experts from Birzeit. The participants of the event were thrilled by the opportunity to further expand their knowledge on marketing and distribution processes in the framework of this workshop and the conviction was voiced that the newly acquired skills will contribute to the further development of the local economy.
