Kusog Mindanaw Roundtable Conference - Foundation Office Philippines
Forum
Details
The conference will tackle the issues that have been rounding the discussion circuit and the media commentaries for the past couple of years: whether to shift to a Federal form of government as an option for a lasting peace and development, or to advocate independence for Mindanao. The Mindanaoan stakeholders' differing stances on the subject will be juxtaposed in the forum, hoping to arrive at a consensus at the end of the day.
The conference will also engage Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) representatives as they are the most relevant "other" grouping advocating Mindanao independence.
