On April 2, 2005 the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung hosted a reception in honor of Hon. Dr. Norbert Lammert, Vice President of the German Parliament, Hon. Hans-Joachim Fuchtel, Member of the German Parliament, and Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU) Conference dignitaries. The reception was part of a seminar on Christian Democracy Updates hosted by KAS and the Center for Christian Muslim Democracy (CCMD). The seminar was well attended by local government officials from the National Capital Region headed by MMDA Chairman Bayani Fernando. Highlights of the evening were the Remarks of Dr. Lammert and Former President Fidel V. Ramos and the performance of the Executives Band together with the Former First Lady Amelita Ramos.
