Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Young Political Leaders Caucus (KASYP-LC) Experts' Meeting - Regional Programme Political Dialogue Asia
Expert talk
Details
Earlier this year, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung launched a new regional initiative called the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Young Political (KASYP) Leaders Caucus. The objectives of this caucus are two-fold:
a)To offer an annual platform for selected Konrad Adenauer School for Young Politicians (KASYP) alumni members to further hone their skills and expertise by way of policy panel discussions and interactive discussions with fellow Asian peers in crafting domestic/regional advances in issue areas impacting youth, political parties and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
b)Develop a network of like-minded young political actors who are committed to strengthening political parties and youth participation in policy advocacy, especially within the greater SDG framework.
As a way to bring this regional network forward in a tangible way, we are organising an Experts' Meeting with 15 KASYP-LC members from 8 different Asian countries, who have proven to be development-centred experts in their respective political spheres, as well as with industry experts.
This meeting will take place half day on the 4th of August, followed by a full day meeting on the 5th of August.
- Please note this event is by-invite-only.*
