KASpaces Regional Forum

ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability, South Asia, ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability, South East Asia, and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS), Singapore are jointly organizing the KASpaces Regional Webinar on Sustainable Cities and Resilient Communities from 16th to 18th November 2021 between 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m (Bangkok time).

This regional forum will also present the findings and key learnings from the series of successful 10 KASpaces country-level webinars on Sustainable cities across South East Asia and South Asia from July to September 2021.

This regional forum will bring together participants and partners of the national webinars from various countries in the region to share experiences and good practices used to face the challenges of today to ensure sustainable and resilient cities and human settlement. The webinar will focus on sustainable solutions of urban development including issues on internal migration, climate resilience, solid waste management, wastewater management, and sustainable transport with a link to Goal 11 of the SDG and COVID-19 pandemic.

The webinar will include representatives of the national and subnational governments, civil society organizations, and private sector working on innovative solutions for urban development across the region to discuss how they could work together to reinforce synergies in providing safe, inclusive, and sustainable cities.

We will be providing certificates to all participants who have attended all the 3 days of the webinar for at least 2 hours each day.
