The workshop will especially address the question how future changes in climate and water demand in the MENA region may affect trade-offs and synergies about the use and distribution of water for energy and food industry. To address these issues, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung REMENA (Germany), MEDRC Water Research Center (Oman) and the International University of Rabat (UIR) (Morocco) will organize jointly a 3-days regional workshop (including one day for technical visit) gathering renowned international experts together with representatives from Ministries and other players of water, energy and agriculture in the Maghreb countries.

This international workshop will be a unique opportunity to transfer knowledge and help implementing the WEF concept in the Maghreb countries.
