The International Summer School Sarajevo (ISSS) project was initiated in 2006 as a pilot project. Since that year, it has brought together undergraduate and graduate students from Europe and the US with great majority of participants coming from South East Europe. The International Summer School Sarajevo is dedicated to explore the effect transition had on legal systems of South-east European countries to respond to human rights challenges which where prevalent in the past. It will focus on transitional justice mechanisms as a holistic tool to respond to these issues.
